ive put up my feeders earlier this month, and so far i have spotted a black chinned hummingbird or it could very well be an adult male ruby, not sure if im seeing females or juvenile rubys since theyre very territorial. i have six feeders up now and they still havent come to an agreement which one they should claim. ive counted three hummingbirds so far at once, not sure if there is any more thats flying alone. but there is feirce competition for food, not that they dont have enough!
