Several Monarch and Painted Lady butterflies have been in our yard on the butterfly bushes and other favorite flowers since about 10:00 a.m. today. I'm so happy to see them, and hope our well-watered yard and butterfly-friendly plants sustain them through the worst drought Texas has had since 1895.
