The last dates that hummers were seen was Sept. 7 and 8--one female each day. None have been seen since then. It always makes me sad when they leave because watching them is such a part of my summer. I have 2 feeders by the kitchen window plus 2 more by the front porch windows. There have been hummingbird feeders on this property for over 50 years.
