I watched a single hummingbird at my feeder late this afternoon. Today was mostly sunny, but the last week was very wet as Hurricane Irene and then Tropical Depression Lee moved through the area. The little hummer sipped nectar from some flowers and then drank from my feeder before sitting for a minute on the wrought iron hanger. He sat there long enough for me to get my camera and snap his photo.
