Hello! I was out mowing yard on tractor around 4:30PM-we have a small pecan tree farm here in Gardendale, TX (close to Midland, TX)& saw a BIG beautiful Monarch flutter by(this was on 9/7/11). Just GORGEOUS! It was heading South. This makes three Monarchs that I have seen so far in our yard, coming from the North going South, within the last 3 weeks. Hope this info is helpful/useful.
