Released last two butterflies (Sept 10 and 11 respectively) this week-end. Saturday's butterfly took 15 days from chrysalis start to emerging butterfly. Sunday's took 17 days. Remainder of 2nd generation Monarchs (Mid to end of August) were taking ~10 days to metamorphisize into butterfly...Cool nights and cooler days in September must slow the process down.
