Last week we went through several gallons of sugar water but it looks like they have slowed a bit this week. Yesterday evening before sunset, I counted about 20 at one feeder. What is amazing to me is that they seem to have a preferred location and/or a preferred feeder type. The numbers migrating through my yard have never equaled the 2005 count which was near 200 at any one moment!
