Our six feeders had at least 12 ruby throated feeding furiously from aboutmid July throught August 30th when we departed for a trip.We filled them all on that date. When we returned on September 8ththe feeders were empty.

The only pair remaining is our originalpair who arrived early. They have repeated this pattern for the last several years.
We call them the "scouts"..
They arrive in April and are still here. They usually leave
very late September or early October.
