I observed approximately 60 butterflies per hour moving south-west along Ipperwash beach. It is at this point were the butterflies turn back over water again to get around Kettle Point so they can continue along the beach and enter the USA. The butterflies leave Canada and enter Michigan about 30 miles south west of Ipperwash.
