We notice our hummers are leaving gradually. Every day we have fewer birds. Today we think we had no more than maybe 7. We saw five at one time together yesterday, but only three together at once today. We were only here for a short time today, so we could be wrong, lets see what tomorrow brings. This is so much earlier than last year. We had them until October 11 last year, 2010, and September 22 in 2009, the year before. We are already missing the chaos and competition. It has a way of invigorating us. Silly huh? Oh we only have females and juveniles now, since the first of september.
