Sept. 12: Here in Utopia, the last week (09/05 est.), a few a day, some up high beating tracks south to southwest, others nectaring, these all big pale worn, one with a bunch of tears in wings so obviously not a local, but one that had been thrashed in the northerly winds.
What a coincidence how right after the two days of fierce unseasonal northlies on a strong early season front and poof Monarchs! What a miracle. It must be rough if you are a Monarch up in the air and a front hits you in the arse.
