At sunrise this morning I saw a lone monarch flying near Interstate 89 when I stopped for gas. The butterfly was checking out a tall tree at the highest point around. I wish I'd had binoculars to see if others were roosting there. It was 62 degrees already so early in the morning. A cold front is moving in tonight...
