September 2 noticed so many hummingbirds that it was difficult to count - We estimated about 25 at two feeders. I have used 5 lbs of sugar during the past two weeks. We have feeders out every year, but this is the first year we had this many at the feeders. Previous years we have noticed about 5 or 6 hummers. Feeders hanging in the same place every year. As of today, September 15, we still have the hummers feeding.
