Monarch feeding in field of clover. I'm wondering if I'll see many more this fall, now that the cold weather is coming! I do have 8 more to release; they should all become adults in the next few days. We found 9 at 5th instar stage (between 8/28-9/4). These should be the 3rd generation in our area--but they were a 2-3 weeks late. I wonder if this last generation will have time to migrate out of here before it's too cold to fly...
