we had hundreds of monarchs staying last night (Sept.13) in the trees on the back of the lot
an amazing sight!

The night of the 13th was when they were here and we had some last night-9-15-11, but not as many. Unfortunately, no pictures. It was almost dark whem we were walking home.

Editor's Note: Based on the observer's comment that there are "hundreds" of monarchs, we are estimating the count as at least 200 butterflies.
