Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 09/12/2011

Number: 1

A newcomer to my feeder, a male rubythroat competed for sugarwater, frequenting my feeder for about 3 or 4 days. He was engaged in hummer wars and domnated the feeding station. His head was black and his throat looked black in the poor light. But I finally got a glimpse of his ruby colored throat exposed under good light. He's gone now and I have not seen him again at the feeder for the past three days.
