Hummingbird Sighting

I sat out on the deck and let the RT's come to me. We have 3 to 4 dozen RTHB's still here. We've had almost two weeks of 3 to 4 dozen--at times 5 dozen-- at one time, and I think this next weekend may start going down. Thought it would be today but we still had large numbers late this afternoon. There are no nectar flowers, no nothing, with drought so everyone is trying to help as much as possible. midcoast of Texas/Port Lavaca

I watched two male Baltimore Orioles at the hummingbird feeders on the afternoon of 9/13/11. Been reading many reports of BO's showing up at feeders and orange halves in Texas the past few days ... report yesterday said 30 to 40 BO's. Texas is burnt to a crisp. midcoast/Port Lavaca ... 3 to 4 dozen RTHB's still.
