I was vacationing with friends along the gulf coast of Mississippi - Gulfport was where we noticed the monarchs either flying toward their destination - Mexico, or resting on the ground near flowering shrubs and flowers. This was a constant sighting all weekend but I narrowed to 30 over a 24 hour period.
