Midday Count: 1 lone butterfly -- most likely the same one sighted yesterday -- feeding on boulevard liatris -- pretty incredible considering last night temps dipped almost to freezing -- temp around mid 50's -- very focused on feeding

Mid-Afternoon Count: 2 (TWO!!) butterflies -- both feeding on liatris -- then both took flight; temp upper 50's

Later-Afternoon Count: 0 (Zero) -- either they took off OR figured to roost for the night since temps will drop down again tonight to upper 30s; tomorrow forecast low 60s

Update tomorrow from a sunny (but chilly) busy urban boulevard in Southwest Minneapolis
