Have observed one young hummer at my window feeder on Sept. 14th and 15th. It has no red markings and appears to be female. I know it is our local hummer from summer because it remains in our backyard visiting garden flowers and perching in trees in our yard. It is a whitish color on its underside and doesn't appear to have any shiny wing or back feathers like the adults.
