I went onto my back patio this morning at around 8, and saw a male Eagle standing next to the pond in our backyard. He was about 50 ft. away and just stood there for a few seconds before taking off in flight with a large fish in his claws. He stood approx. 18"-20" tall. I just stood staring trying to believe what I was seeing. It was a pretty awesome sight!
