We have been observing hummingbirds stopping at our feeder throughout the week, the latest was this morning around 10:30.
It was thought we had put out the feeder too late having only done so a week ago but amazingly there was at least one visitor just a couple of hours after doing so & we were thrilled to see it! We are located in southwestern Ontario 50 miles NNE of Detroit, Michigan where the overnight lows have fell into the 40's overnight recently with frost seen on the rooftops Thursday morning.
