Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/15/2011

Number: 1

While looking out the back window in the main building of the Virginia Living Museum, a conference vendor & I spotted a female hummingbird nectaring on ironweed blossoms in the butterfly garden on the back boardwalk. She flew over the building to the south west. Later I was told a hummingbird [gender undetermined] nectared on one of the plants displayed for sale in the conservation garden to the south of the main building. Maybe it was the same one.
