Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/17/2011

Number: 12

As the weather has gotten colder, I expected to see the last of the litte guys but they are hanging in there all puffed up like little green and grey cotton balls with a toothpick sticking out. I try to put up some warm nectar for them in the mornings when they are coldest. They are either just too stubborn to head south or they know it's going to get hot again here soon.
