spotted monarchs on following dates. 9/11,9/16,9/17 7 9/18. also on 9/10 had 2 caterpillars leave milkweed. on 9/12 observed 2 chrysallis's on siding of garage. on 9/15 had monarch emerge from chrysallis also from siding of garage. still have three chrysallis's to mature. not sure if nights in 40 degree range will effect or not.
