Here in the Corpus area we call it 'frenzy week'. We know that when hummers mass mob the feeders this time of year that our first cold front is comming. Wooo-hooo! We need the relief, however, they are in the Corpus Christi, Tx area in mass right now. When they leave we hopefully will get some much needed rain and a break in the heat. it's interesting how accurately you can tell the weather by the hummers. when i look out from my windows this time of year and all of the little guys are gone, i know that in 24 hours we will hv a big front come thru.
