Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/16/2011

Number: 100

Many monarchs in clumps on shrubs I have seen them on in previous years. There was a strong westerly breeze and the temperature in the sun was 71. There were many also flying in the area. We saw them while we were at the park about 12 to 2 PM. I went back the next morning and there were only a few remaining, though the weather was much the same.
