I have fed Hummers and Baltimore Orioles at my feeders at Clearville Park since May. Up until the last week of August, I routinely had 2 dozen or more hummers at my feeders at one time. By Sept 18 the number is now only 2 males with the biggest decline taking place at the end of August. I have hummers at this location usually until the first week in October. We have lots of orange jewelweed in our park that will provide nectar for another week or so. I will report again when these two males leave.
