Good morning fellow birdwatchers:There are thousands of gulls passing overhead along with a few American pelicans. The gulls are most likely ring-billed.Had hundreds of honey bees in my garden yesterday. There are also several butterflies:cabbage whites(females),pearl crescents, silver spot skippers, lady red admirals, sulphurs, firey red skippers, and monarchs. The white-breasted nuthatches have been stashing sunflower seeds in the burr oak.Still have three hummers, all female.I expect the juncos will be arriving soon.96 days till Christmas!(#*&%$#!) :)
