Believe this is the same individual I sighted in my garden earlier this month. Got a better look this time and have now determined it's a female, and not an immature male ('she" has a very moss-green-colored back). Have seen her numerous times already, visiting either my spotted jewelweed or my orange lantana. Interestingly, on this day we were receiving a 500-year record rainfall, and yet she remained undaunted, shaking out her feathers numerous times and wiping her bill, but still feeding at my flowers!
