Walked out to a stand of pecan, cedar, and willow trees on my property around 5 PM local time and noted dozens of butterflies around, and settling in for the evening. Had seen a lot earlier in the afternoon around the flower beds, (zinnias, butterfly bushes, clematis, crepe myrtle, etc) but it didn't click until I noted the large flock in and around the trees
