Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/21/2011

Number: 50

For two weeks, large groups of hummingbirds have emptied two large feeders a day. The largest numbers come at dawn through 10 - 10:30 the morning and late in the afternoon until dusk. There are hummingbirds here all day. Ruby-throated males and females. Very exciting to have them here. Our usual cardinals, wrens, blue jays and blue birds stay away from our tiny, zooming friends.
