The numbers of hummingbirds grew and grew until Sept 21... and then suddenly most of them are gone. We were going through a gallon of bird soup a day with just 4 feeders, but now it has dropped considerably. There are still 40+ hummers hanging out, but the hoards have moved on. What a kick to hear them chirping and to watch the feeding frenzy. I love to see the personalities, the bullies, etc.
