Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/20/2011

Number: 25

Temps were in the low 70's. The sun was bright and it was windy. The monarchs were resting on dirt roads, then flying south feeding on goldenrod along the way. They were on the move. We did discover one newly hatched butterfly. It was drying its wings on a goldrod plant. We only captured 8 to tag.
