Just caught a glimpse of green from the corner of my eye & turned to see a small group of 4 hummers buzzing the feeder on the front porch. I just love seeing them drink and knowing I have provided sustenance to carry them along to the next feeders along their route back home. Everyone, don't put away your feeders too soon. There are always stragglers or those who enjoyed nicer weather til now and are just getting the message that it is time to leave for the winter. So leave those feeders up for at least a week so the procrastinators can have nourishment for their long flight.We've seen no hummers for 2 or 3 days. Now, we see late-comers.Thanks,DM
