SQUEAL!!!!! FINALLY sighted more than one monarch at a time, a first for this migration. They are definitely on the move now, how exciting! While at National Zoo Monday I checked out every butterfly bush I knew of, and found between 1-3 monarchs visiting each:-) This is the most I've ever seen there in my four years of volunteering. Most likely my count of "9" is conservative, too. I took as many photos as I could, some quite lovely despite the overcast skies. Am SO happy!
