Oh my goodness! Had hummers at the back feeder fighting at dawn when I let the dogs out. They were frequenting the feeders and flowers in the yard throughout the day today. Even had hummer wars going on .....felt like August. Loved hearing them chattering at each other again! All little girls though. Made a fresh batch of sugar solution for everyone. Heavy rain expected tomorrow, but I've seen them feed in rain, unlike my Monarchs. Will watch them through the kitchen window as I can my plentiful tomatoes into tomato sauce. ...the ones that the chipmunks and birds didn't get a bite out of first!
