We saw 7 monarchs total at Cibolo Nature Center. Most were nectaring on Blue Mist Conoclinium coelestinum (formerly Eupatorium coelestinum). This blue mist species grows wild near the creek and marsh areas, preferring moist soil. A few monarchs were spotted in the garden near the parking lot. We spent about 3 hours on the trails there. All of the monarchs but one looked fresh and in good shape!
