For two or three days I have been seeing 18-20 or more birds in my back yard, mostly around my feeder. They have been drinking about 50 oz. of sugar water a day. Today the number is down. I counted 10-12 earlier in the day. Smaller numbers mid day and the last hour before dark the number was closer to 15. They drank about 34 oz sugar water today.
I never see more than 1 or 2 males.
