Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/22/2011

Number: 3

Observed two Monarchs on beach this morning. The numbers along beach peaked in early september and have diminished considerably. The third Monarch was on side of road in south end of Town. We still have a number of caterpillars and pupae at Park Office. Anxious to see these transform and take wing before cold settles in. Winter can arrive like a lion at Wasaga Beach, Ontario.
