We started seeing the Hummingbirds (female(s) first) very briefly in July. They never touched our feeder that was hanging from a tree off of our deck (facing West). Early August I moved our feeder to the other side of our house (facing South & East)suspended under an eave close to our kitchen deck door.

They started using the feeder immediately and come about every 15-20 minutes early mid-morning, then tapering to longer spaced visits until early evening.

The male is very social; it seems he visits the feeder even more when we are sitting on the deck (about 4ft.away)with our coffee.

If the site allows, I will try to post a picture or two ASAP.
