I work in the city and look forward each year to the migration. Today amongst the passing cars,trucks,buses,garbage trucks and low flying aircraft these wonderful Monarchs came fluttering over. They are truely amazing. We have a weed patch betwen two lots that they will sometimes descend and rest on. But today there was no stopping. They had a good tail wind in a favorable direction so they moved quickly south. Love to watch them go over. They add a bit of color to the gray, drab city.
