There is heavy fog now nearly every morning. At times I cannot see my neighbours across the lake. Leaves are changing rapidly and falling more every day. The air is crisp, the winds cooler, even when it is 20C. There is a different smell in the air. I notice that my chipmunks aren't out every day...and when they are they are slower running back and forth between their houses and my peanut pile.
There are still blackflies here and there.
