Well, I'm surprised to report that my lone female is still here, happily sitting on the feeder taking long drinks and getting even fatter. There have been a few migrants making quick, nervous stops at the feeder over the past week. I've looked out during a couple of downpours and been surprised to see a bird at the feeder.
