There is a lone female ruby-throated hummingbird staying at our house, feeding at our feeders. My husband reported that on Wednesday night, he saw a second hummer with her. I now wonder if I'm seeing migrating hummers stopping to feed and rest, who are coming from farther north of me. It's not clear that it's the same hummer I'm seeing each time.
