We had a traveler this morning! Our visiting hummer appeared to be a young female - no red dots or darkening head and neck area the way young males present, but her colors weren't bright and clearly delineated the way an adult female's would be. She sat for a while on one of the feeder poles then moved to the butterfly bush. We'e watching for her and hoping she stays long enough to visit the feeders for a good meal and enjoy a rest in the butterfly bush before she moves on.
