Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/24/2011

Number: 1000

We saw thousands of monarch butterflies, flying toward the fields in search of flowers. We also saw them heading south in the direction of Point Pelee, Ontario. They stopped for a break in our neighborhood, in the ope fields and near Lake Ontario where there are wild flowers. We saw a few of them flying over the lake.
