When I was playing with my dog I think I spooked a monarch which was roosting in a white pine in my yard which was also in close proximity to my mexican sunflowers which I suspected it was feeding on prior to roosting. When I spooked it it circled my yard and landed on the top of the pine tree briefly and decided to leave.
