Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/25/2011

Number: 1

Sighted a monarch in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden September 25, 2011, about 4:00 p.m., Brooklyn, New York. It was a partly cloudy, humid day. We could not identify the plant it was on. We are familiar with some of the plants that Monarch favor for food or ovopositing--milkweed, Mexican sunflowers--this was not something that we were familiar with.
