We had hundreds of Robins in the surrounding trees when we were at our property on the Sunshine Coast of BC near Secret Cove. The sound of these birds was immense and amazing. They were enjoying a dip in the various pools of water caught in the rock below us. We have never seen this many Robins at one time and wonder what the convention was about. They were constantly moving from tree to tree and talking non stop - we felt honored.
